Emergency and Crisis Help
Immediate safety steps and verified emergency contacts for Pakistan.
Get immediate help
If you may hurt yourself, have already harmed yourself, cannot stay safe, or believe someone else is in immediate danger:
- Move away from anything that could be used to cause harm, if you can do so safely.
- Do not remain alone. Go to a trusted person, public place, clinic or hospital.
- Say clearly: “I am not safe and I need immediate help.”
- Call an emergency service or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
- Stay with the person until responsible adult or professional help arrives.

Important
- The Mind Matters contact form and Ask an Expert service are not emergency services and are not monitored continuously.
- Do not rely on email or social media when there is immediate danger.
- A peer supporter or Youth Ambassador should never handle a high-risk situation alone.
- Service availability can change. If one number does not connect, contact another emergency service or go directly to a hospital.
