Youth Empowerment
Technology, Skills & Leadership for the Next Generation
PY's first objective is to strengthen the capacity of young people to make informed decisions and lead change in their own communities. We take a tech-forward approach - combining digital education, vocational skill-building, and structured leadership training - so that youth are equipped not just to participate in Pakistan's development, but to drive it.
This objective is delivered through a nationwide network of PY volunteers and youth groups who carry life-skills, digital literacy, and civic-engagement training into their own communities, creating a multiplier effect that reaches far beyond any single program cycle.

PY emphasises environmental awareness and stewardship as a core objective, integrating sustainability into every program and advocating for green practices that address climate change. Given the scale of climate-driven risk in Sindh and Balochistan, this objective sits at the centre of our long-term strategy.
Through the Pakistan Climate Coalition and anticipatory-action partnerships, PY works with communities before disasters strike - not only after - so that climate resilience becomes part of everyday livelihoods rather than an emergency response.

In a region shaped by past conflict, fragile governance, and social division, this objective is dedicated to fostering mutual understanding among diverse communities so that peace becomes something young people build together, not something imposed on them.
This work includes structured peace-education curricula, safe spaces for intercommunal dialogue, and youth-led initiatives that counter narratives of violence with everyday examples of cooperation and shared purpose.
